Secretary: Michael J. Romano III, Brookdale Corporation
Michael Romano was the CEO of Romano Brothers Beverage Company from 1984 to 2002. Romano Brothers was a family owned and operated wine & spirit distribution company founded in 1884. It was the largest beverage alcohol distributor in Illinois and the 12th largest in the USA when it was sold in 2002.
Michael is currently active in various humanitarian, philanthropic and educational projects most notably Bradley University, Nazareth Academy, St. Isaac Jogues Parish, Chicago Hope Academy, Autism Speaks, Clearbrook, Misericordia and Mary Our Hope Center in Bosnia. He is also the play-by-play broadcaster for the Chicago Steel hockey team. Benita, his wife of 28 years, and he have four children and reside in Hinsdale, Illinois.
